Happy Birthday Today To!!!
Bobby Lane
TIME TO FALL BACK: Remember to set your clocks back one hour Saturday night.
Please continue in your daily prayers:
Sandy Eaves request the prayers of the church family regarding her cancer treatments. Please keep her in your prayers on a daily basis. The doctors are trying different chemo meds to try and find something that will work. Thank you for your love and support. Cards of encouragement can be sent to: 824-B State Street, Cookeville, TN 38501.
Please pray for Louise Wheeler (the youngest sister of Ken Castleman) who fell and fractured her femur. She has undergone two extensive surgeries to repair the damage. She is currently at Skyline Medical Center and having a slow recovery.
Ryan McQueen requests prayers for Christy Donegan, who is the sister of his employer. She had brain surgery Tuesday. Update on Christy Donegan: she went home Friday from the hospital. The brain mass was thankfully benign. Continued prayers are requested as she tries to recover at home.
JC & Annita Young are requesting the prayers for his sister, Malinda Kemp, who has been in the hospital in Nashville for several days with a serious pituitary problem. Your prayers would be greatly appreciated.
The Brewster’s have requested prayers for their friend Barbara Green, Retired PCSS teacher, who lost her home and vehicle to a house fire Saturday. Walmart or restaurant cards are appreciated. Please see the Brewster’s for more details or to help.
We express Sympathy to the family of Elizabeth (Kevin) Marengo in the passing of her Nanny Virginia Lynn on Monday. Her funeral was held on Saturday.
Thank You: The family of Dr. Richard Dycus would like to express their heartfelt gratitude for the outpouring of love shown as Richard moved from this world toward his heavenly home. We are so grateful to everyone who brought food for our family, sent cards, gave donations and flowers, and gave words and prayers of love and support. This show of Christian love has been the brace that has held us up. It is good to be part of the family of God. Thank you all.
Thank You: We would like to thank all at Jefferson Avenue and beyond for your prayers, cards, thoughtfulness, and well wishes during Annita’s recent hospital stay, and the love and prayers for our daughter, Jade Hicks during her ongoing treatments. Your continued prayers are most appreciated. We love our Christian family here, are so thankful, and feel most blessed. Annita & JC Young
Campers of JA, the time has come! No matter what type of camper you are, we invite you to join us by the campfire for some good ole fellowship. We have tentatively chosen 3 dates and locations for us all to plan to camp together in 2025, but we are open to ideas and suggestions for places and dates that can allow ANYONE to join us around the campfire and build stronger relationships with each other while enjoying the beauty that God has created. If you are interested, sign up on Remind and just stop by and let Courtney or Lindsey Norton know you are ready to light the fire!! https://groupme.com/join_group/104171844/fVi1hFWd
