Catherine Taylor is scheduled to have gall bladder surgery this morning. Prayers greatly appreciated for a successful surgery and speedy recovery.
Christy Anderson asks for prayers for her mother, Christine Smith. She is in critical care in Murfreesboro. She started showing signs of rapid onset dementia on Wednesday and suffered multiple seizures on Saturday. Her condition is improving, but she is in need of prayers.
Virginia Mabry is in CRMC Rm # 439 with a possible stroke. They are running test and waiting on results.
Amie Howell requests prayers for her neighbor’s grandson, Rawson Sean Gomez, age 14, who is being treated for Lyme disease, meningitis and encephalitis. We thank God that his fever broke and that he may be able to move out of ICU soon. Also, Rawson’s sister, Hope, is in the hospital with kidney issues and doing better. Please pray for this family.
Carrie Simpson requests prayers for her father David Lipe who had back surgery. A meal train has been set up for her parents at https://www.mealtrain.com/trains/41ov16.
Benny King is scheduled for arthroscopic surgery today. Let’s keep him in our prayers.
Glenda Johnson is homebound and not doing well.
Jan Lowe is at the Mayo Clinic this week. Continue to keep her and Monte in our prayers.
The Church Office will be closed December 25th and 26th in observance of Christmas Eve and Day.

Adult Classes: Christmas Eve all adult Bible studies will gather in the Small Auditorium at 9am.
EVENTS:
SUNDAY AFTERNOON: Kids Avenue will have Christmas Cookies and Caroling on Sunday, December 10. Meet at Charter Living at 3:15pm at 1010 E Spring St. After singing we will return to JA to decorate cookies.
SUNDAY NIGHT: Second Sunday Singing & Finger Food Fellowship is this Sunday Night. Please come sing praises to the Lord and remember to bring a finger food to share afterwards .
Fruit Baskets: We will take fruit baskets again this year to our shut-ins on Saturday, December 16 at 8:30am. Please come and help deliver these giving gifts. Meet in the Library. See Andy Milton for details.
The Jefferson Avenue Men’s Ministry (JAMM) will provide the meal for the Empower Upper Cumberland group on Thursday, December 21st beginning at 5 PM. Men, please sign up on the bulletin board to help.
JAMM will not have Wings and Wisdom this month. Instead we’ll help provide and serve a meal to the Empower Upper Cumberland group that meets in the fellowship hall on Thursday, December 21st. Men, sign up on the Project Board to help.
