Ronda Stout, niece of Pat Shinsky, is now home recovering. No visitors at this time. Please keep her in your prayers.


Brenda Turner will have a procedure to get her heart back in correct rhythm on January 23. Please keep her in your prayers.


Sympathy to Lynn Kelly in the loss of his brother, Larry Kelly, who passed away on Monday. He was uncle of Tony & Chris Kelly. His service was held on Thursday in Martin,Tn.


Sympathy to Vanessa (Brendan) Johnson  in the loss of her grandfather, Charbo Trisdale, who passed away on January 10th. He was the great-grandfather of Max, Bo & Jett Johnson and an uncle of Michelle Mainord. His Service was held on Tuesday.

Cassandra Sexton, mother of Matthew Sims, is moving to a new apartment in Cookeville on Saturday, January 24, 2026. Matthew is requesting assistance to help move his mom's belongings. A trailer will be provided to transport her belongings. If you are interested in helping, please contact Matthew Sims in person or via phone at (715) 919-1026.

Odyssey House is a spiritual theatrical walk-through journey hosted by Sycamore Church of Christ. The script is about a college girl who goes through some trials that will test her faith. She is facing a spiritual warfare as the forces of good and the forces of evil are at war for her soul. The dates and times are January 30, 6:30-8:30pm, and January 31, 5:00-8:00pm. There is no cost to attend, but you must call the church office at Sycamore Church of Christ (931-526-5427) to reserve your free tickets. A free meal will be provided on Saturday night. Thursday, February 12--Attention Amazing Ladies Group! Our Valentines luncheon together will be at Nick’s Restaurant in Cookeville. The bus will leave the parking lot at 11:15am. Remember to sign the list on the bulletin board across from the library if you can attend this; our first outing together of the new year. Please remember to indicate if you’ll be riding the bus as well. The deadline for signing up is Sunday, February 8th. Contact Marian Dale if you need assistance.
