We rejoice with our new brother in Christ, Dawson Shelton, who was baptized Wednesday, January 15. Jennifer and Scott are his proud parents.


Congratulations to James & Whitney Lane on the birth of their new baby girl, Everly Lane. Johnny and Lynn Lane are the proud grandparents.


Jame Harris requests prayers for Barbara Emberon who is in Erlanger hospital with sepsis.


Sue Savage is undergoing chemo and needs continuous prayers.


Rick Gilbert will have back surgery on Monday, January 27.


Cathey Clark remains in the ICU at CRMC. She has a lung malignancy and they have now found the cancer to be treatable. Still asking for prayers for her and the doctors. Cards can be sent to: 823 State Street, Suite B, Cookeville, TN 38501.


Elizabeth Marengo requests prayers for a friend’s daughter, Sophia, who will be having open heart surgery soon. Sophia is three months old.

Bob Jared will be having surgery tomorrow afternoon to repair his shoulder and elbow at CRMC. Prayers for a successful surgery, recovery and healing greatly appreciated. Cards can be sent to: 2372 Hwy. 70 East Cookeville, TN 38506.


Jason Carnes, father of Jared and Kyle, has been battling pancreatitis and is now home from the hospital. He will be having surgery in four weeks. Cards can be sent to: 2900 Herald Ct Cookeville, TN 38501.

El Puente Hispanic Community Center Fundraiser: Looking for something fun to do during these dreary winter days? Come support a great cause and enjoy a laugh at Comedy for a Cause with the hilarious comedian Karen Mills. The event is Friday, January 24 at 7:30 PM at CPAC. You are invited to Odyssey House at Sycamore Church of Christ on February 8. This event is a theatrical spiritual journey which is a 40-minute walk-through of different encounters of Jesus from the Bible. Time slots begin at 4:00pm, and end by 7:30pm. Tickets are FREE & can be reserved by calling the Sycamore church office at 931-526-5427. There is also a FREE meal for our guests.
