Rejoice we have a new brother and sister in Christ. Bryson and Josie Bush were baptized Sunday for the remission of their sins. Let’s lift them up in prayer and encourage them in their new walk with the Lord.
Mary Allred had hip surgery on Thursday .The surgery went well. She remains at CRMC Room #513. She is expecting to be off her feet for 4 weeks. Meal train for Mary Allred: Please click on the link. Sympathy to Fay Borden in the passing of her husband and our Jackie Borden. His funeral was held on Wednesday.
VBS Project: We need empty 2 Liter bottles and old newspapers for a VBS project. Please drop them by the church office or bring on Sunday or Wednesday. Thanks, Sarah Burns
FOOD PANTRY: UPDATED items needed: canned items: tuna, soup; boxed items: potatoes, mac and cheese, cereal, crackers; Jiffy corn muffin mix, other items: peanut butter, spaghetti sauce, dried beans, egg noodles, ramen noodle packs. Homeless Bags needs: bottled waters, beanie wienies, Vienna sausages, potted meat (pop tops preferred), pop top soup cans, single tuna-chicken packs, mac & cheese cups, ramen noodle cups, applesauce, fruit cups, granola bars, individual snacks (crackers, chips, etc.) Gift cards from Save A Lot and Walmart are needed as well. TONIGHT—Friday, April 26th — The Young At Heart will be having a “Dinner Night Out”, traveling to Lebanon, Tn., for the “Seafood Buffet” and other good stuff at Shoney’s of Lebanon. A very nice restaurant, very good food, $16.99 for the buffet, but if you don’t like seafood, they have a full menu options as well. Leaving JA parking lot at 4pm. See JC or Annita Young.

Sunday, May 5th—The Young At Heart members will present “ Chocolate Fantasy Night” to recognize JA Youth members who participated recently in Lads to Leaders, in the Fellowship Hall, after evening service. We will have a awards program and lots of chocolate sweets for them and you. Everyone is invited to come celebrate our Lads to Leader program and those who participated in it. We do ask our YAH members to bring their favorite chocolate sweets. Sign up sheet is on the YAH board in the back hallway. See JC or Annita Young, or Ronnie & Patty Thornton.
Tuesday, May 14th—The Amazing Ladies will have a Mystery Luncheon in the fellowship hall at 11:30 am. Please sign up on our new bulletin board across the hall from the library no later than Sunday, May12th.
